The years that we spend in our school are not merely time spend in learning and filling our minds with knowledge but also time spend in moulding our character acquiring various attitude and imbibing basis principles of life .The basis traits of our personality are formed during our school days.The name of our school B.D.Jain Modern School ( H.S).It is situated in Coochbehar,East Khagrabari ,. It is considered to be one of the finest school in the state as it is highly a claimed for his excellent impression structure. It consist of two floor and has classroom classroom are spaces and hearing the School has a will equipped library ,well established science laboratory and an excellent computer room .The principal 's office , and Admistrative block and staff room are on the ground floor close to the entrance.The School canteen is another important part of school complex . It is situated on the separate Wings close to the ground floor .The School has big playground bounded by the cemented fence .Various Medicinal and decorative trees are all planted in the school Garden which really makes our school beauty of the entire Complex. My school has over 700 students studying from Nursery to class XIIth and staff over 40 . Our teachers are well experienced and well versed in their subjects. They are enough trained and qualified as per their concern subjects. Many more activities and celebration are carry on in our school like - School Annual Sports / Annual Function ,Teachers' Day ,Children's Day, Mothers' Day, Defence Day like - Indian Navy Day, Indian Army Day ,World Health Day, Youth Day ,And many more . A lot of emphasis is given to the character formation ,moral education and acquiring good values of life .Al though the school ambent is rather stick and time table based . I indeed proud of my school.

As step into new academic year ,filled with hope and dreams of scaling new heights, I wish to reiterate the importance of few things that we have to keep in mind. parents should remember that children should not be forced but should be guided to achieve what ever goals they may have in their minds in an easy and pleasing manner, so that we may be able to discover the particular touch of genius in each one of them.
